It’s been a huge week with multiple changes in SERP layouts, a massive Google Analytics security breech, and a big feature rollout from Microsoft Advertising.
No surprise, it was a busy week in search, with changes in how Google displays search results, “free” offering to local businesses from Google Ads, and Instagram making a name for itself as a news source.
It was another bid week in search and social, with Facebook acquisitions, SERP layout adjustments, new GMB features and more.
The week in search and social involved changes to SERP layouts, changes to both Google and Bing search docs, changes in how Facebook ranks articles, and more.
As usual, it was another big week in search. We saw layout changes, algo updates, deindexing bugs and a whole lot more.
