Amazon, The Goliath of Internet Retail

AmazonAmazon will be crushing online retail with its recent partnerships with brand names such as Gucci and Kate Spade. With over 350,000 items listed Amazon is planned to grow from $16 billion this year to a whopping $27 billion in 2017.

In the past Amazon has had a hard time finding traction in the fashion industry until their recent sponsorships of major fashion events like The New York Fashion Week. This helped increase their trust and relationships with some of the top designers that will probably turn around and help Amazon crush Macy’s and T.J Maxx this coming Christmas season.
