MSN Breeds Buyers

In a recent report by comScore Networks, Inc. (a major authority on consumer behavior) their studies revealed that of all the search engine users, MSN searchers we the most likely to purchase products and services online. And not just by a bit, MSN searchers were 48% more likely to make a purchase online than the average surfer.

An additional point of interest is that only 15% of all searchers purchased the first time the did the search and found what they were looking for. 85% of the purchases were made off line 5 to 12 weeks later.

Another very interesting point in the report was that 61% of all purchases began with generic phrases making generic phrases an important part of a websites keyword strategy, according to James Lamberti, vice president of search solutions, at comScore Networks Inc.
